據(jù)《能源年》6月7日曼谷報(bào)道，周一，泰國國家石油公司宣布，泰國油（PTTEP）已決定繼續(xù)其在Arthit海上氣田建設(shè)泰國首個(gè)碳捕獲和存儲(chǔ)設(shè)施的計(jì)劃。

2021年啟動(dòng)的一項(xiàng)可行性研究最近結(jié)束。該設(shè)施的預(yù)FEED研究正在進(jìn)行中，預(yù)計(jì)該設(shè)施將于2026年投入使用。

這一決定符合泰國到2050年實(shí)現(xiàn)碳中和、到2065年實(shí)現(xiàn)凈零碳排放的承諾。PTT勘探和生產(chǎn)公司設(shè)定了到2050年實(shí)現(xiàn)凈零碳排放的目標(biāo)。

這家國有能源公司此前與日本企業(yè)合作，在日本部分地區(qū)使用CCS技術(shù)。

PTTEP to launch Thailand’s first CCS project

PTT Exploration and Production has decided to go ahead with its plans to build Thailand’s first carbon capture and storage facility on the Arthit offshore gasfield, the NOC announced on Monday.

A feasibility study launched in 2021 recently concluded. A pre-FEED study is underway, with commissioning of the facility expected in 2026.

The decision is in line with Thailand’s commitment to become carbon neutral by 2050 and attain net zero carbon emissions by 2065. PTT Exploration and Production has set a target to have net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

The state-owned energy company previously collaborated with partners in Japan on using CCS technology in other areas of the country.
